ethical decision making in marketing?
Well over the years there have been
times when marketing didn't have the
because frankly a lot of people involved
weren't focused enough on ethics or or
doing things ethically.
Well in today's world that is a
great way to just completely fail
the problem in today's world for anybody
trying to cheat
or do things the wrong way is one,
word travels fast. You know way back in
people used to go from town to town just
left and right selling bad product for
probably too much money and then leaving
town before anybody could figure out
what was going on.
Nowadays you couldn't even come close to
pulling that off because before you'd
even get to the next town
you'd have all these bad reviews on the
internet we all know how that
works. And in today's world that carries
a lot of weight,
so word travels fast and we pay
attention when we hear
these bad reviews. The only way that
we're able to
see those reviews or post those reviews
is through the development
of the communication technology that we
the internet for example and all the
computer technology that we have that
allows us to
create content, social media,
all these different platforms that we
post reviews on,
those get around and people find out.
So if you're going to be effective as a
marketer you had better
make ethics a priority and so doing
things the right
way is a key to success in marketing.
