All right, so when it comes to marketing
there really are different ways you can
think about it.
And as i've said in previous videos
I believe that marketing is everything
and everything comes back to marketing,
but there really are two main
philosophies or or
perspectives I should say on marketing.
And the first is macro marketing, so
what is macro marketing? Well macro
is actually not what we normally think
of when we think of marketing
it's uh a broader view so it's really
how our resources allocated it has to do
government policies and all sorts of
that affect how resources flow through
So that's macro marketing that's the the
of marketing most of the time when we're
we're learning more about micro
marketing and that's really got to do
firms do in the way of marketing,
so it has to do with all the functions
that happen within a business
related to marketing whether that's
selling products distributing products,
all of that stuff that's more
what I call firm level that's micro
So combined we have micro and macro
and that's the big picture of marketing.
Whether you look at it from the firm
or the societal side, but those are the
two main perspectives on marketing.
