What is the Parenting Styles Theory?
The Parenting Styles theory, proposed by Goold and Campbell, is a theory concerning the role of the corporate center in a corporation. They argue that many successful approaches to corporate strategy are based upon management styles or the extent of control exercises by the corporate center.
What are the Three Generic Parenting Styles?
The corporate center influences the business in a manner deemed a “parenting style”, which is characterized by the type of control influence exerted.
