What is the Behavioral Management?

The Behavioral Theory of Management, often referred to as Neo-Classical Management Theory, focuses upon individual behavior, motivations, and social interactions. Specifically, it incorporates the study of human behavior through psychology, sociology, and anthropology. 

Why Lead to the Theory of Behavioral Management?

The Behavioral approach was a reaction to the short-comings of classical management theory that focused on individual productivity through efficiency and organizational structure. 

These approaches failed to adequately account for the human aspects of organizational performance. 

What are the Types of Behavioral Management?

Behavioral Management Theory can be broken unto two major theories:

  • Human Relations Theory
  • Behavioral Science Theory
