What is Consultative Selling?

Consultative selling is an approach to sales based on seeking input from the customer to develop solutions to specific problems. Basically, it means asking the customer what they think about a product that is designed to address a particular need or has a particular use. This feedback is used in developing the product. 

Consultative selling generally requires the following:

  • Willingness to Ask Questions
  • Willingness to Listen Fully
